Drag Bits are the perfect solutions for soil, sand, sticky clay, and grouting drilling. They are designed for higher penetration rates in softer unconsolidated formations, provide lower costs per foot. Drag Bits are more aggressive than tricone bits, and have higher speed while lower cutting action.
Drag bits are economical tools when drilling softer geological formations and shallower depths. We supply both step drag bits and chevron drag bits. Chevron drag bits are usually used for drilling more abrasive formations like soft sandstons and shales. Chevron drag bits are more durable than step drag bits because of cutting structuer, but penetrate more slowly. We offer a comprehensive range of step drag bits as below:
